It list the meals but there is no explanation of what the meal contains which leaves you asking the waitress a million questions. I must say I'm highly disappointed with my food experience here. Went in on my last day in Maryland off a recommendation on crab cakes. When we called to make a reservation, they offered to come pick us up from our hotel.

Our server was very friendly she gave us some suggestions, taught those who had never eaten crab how to eat it, and was quite attentive throughout our entire meal. I will be back for the crab cakes, and more of the steamed crab. One plate could have easily fed 3 very hungry people. The food was good, but the portion sizes were waaaay too huge. This place seems to think it's a little fancier than it really is. The kind of chinese buffet where you're not really getting "authentic" chinese food and they might also have burgers, chicken tenders, and ice cream for the little ones. The space gives off the vibe of an old chinese buffet. Until we became familiar with our waitress, it was hard to tell who was actualy working here and who had just walked in off the street. I'm not entirely sure what this means, as the servers are dressed in whatever t-shirt must have been clean that day, and a pair of jeans. The name, the space, and the menu give off 3 very different vibes.īefore making our way in, we saw a sign on the door saying that appropriate clothes were required. And the way I've been craving it ever since we left, it may be sooner rather than later! My family and I will definitely head straight to our new favorite spot for crab cakes whenever we visit Baltimore. During our meal we noticed that every seat was always filled and the takeout area near the bar was continuously hopping the whole time another testament to how good the food is. The servings were huge and none of us could finish our meal in one sitting. We ordered the famous crab cake with lemon butter sauce and the seafood (shrimp, clams, scallops and lump crab) Alfredo fettuccine. The furniture and décor are dated, but the place was clean and the service was friendly and professional.

The driver arrived on time and had us at Mo's, located in Baltimore's Little Italy neighborhood in minutes.

As tourists, we were delighted by this amenity. I called for reservations and was told that I could be picked up by their complimentary shuttle at my hotel and driven to their front door for dinner. This sent me on a quest for a new favorite and boy oh boy did I find it at Mo's Seafood and Pasta. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the taste and portion size at what used to be our favorite spot for Baltimore seafood. We headed straight for Phillip's on the inner harbor for nostalgia's sake as it had been a previous tradition for us.

We hadn't been for the past several years and recently made the trip in search of our beloved crab cakes (where we're from, they're all filler). My family used to visit Baltimore from the Midwest every summer. By far the best crab cakes and seafood Alfredo that I've ever had!!
